The Holidays Are Upon Us!

On November 13, 2007, we started our seventh class since opening November, 2006. Our net couple of start dates are January 29, 2008, and April 1, 2008. We are also working on opening our evening classes early Spring 2008. It is really an exciting experience to tour the school with all the students we now have on our salon floor.

Just in time for the Holidays, on December 3, we will begin opening the salon floor for clients on Mondays. Now our students can get you ready for all of your fun filled holiday events Monday-Saturday each week. Please call and make your appointments Today!

Our students raised over $3800 for the Inspire Change cut-a-thon on Friday, October 12, 2007. For Christmas, we are working with The Salvation Army and their Angel Program. We will be purchasing gifts for two small children ages 3 and 7 to help make their Christmas wishes come true!

Inspire Change

We are hosting the Inspire Change cut-a-thon on Friday October 12, 2007.

Inspire Change is the exclusive partnership Redken 5th Avenue has formed with Couture for Cancer, a non-profit organization that donates custom-made non-surgical human hair replacement systems free of charge to cancer patients worldwide. Couture for Cancer's mission is to change the lives of cancer patients--one head at a time--by boosting their self-confidence and personal outlook after the devastating loss of their hair due to chemotherapy.

100% of the funds raised by The Process Institute of Cosmetology and Redken artists will be directly given to fund the production of a minimum 1,000 hair systems for approved recipients, which have a retail cost of $3,500.

~Fall is in the Air~

Fall is in the air! It really is a great time of the year with lots of students starting new goals attending fall classes everywhere. Things are really busy here at The Process as well. We have another class starting next week, September 18, 2007. The next couple of start dates are: November 13, 2007 and January 29, 2008. REMEMBER, we have new classes starting every 8 weeks, so there is always one that will fit your schedule.

Our first graduation ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2007. This is so exciting for all of us here at the school. We are planning to hold two graduation ceremonies per year; one in the fall and one in the spring.

We are coming up on our one year of being open in our new facility! We have had a lot of "firsts" this past year with all of our expectations being far exceeded and are very excited about the coming year!

What's Going on at The Process

We are so proud of our first graduates that have completed their required hours and have moved on to salons.

New full-time and part-time classes begin Tuesday, July 24, 2007. Hours for our part-time classes are from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Tuesday - Saturday.

Evening classes are being worked out and should start by January 2008

• Beginning in July, a part-time day class will be offered from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

• On May 12, we will have a Bake Sale from 9-3 raising funds for our students Orlando trip to The Premiere Show in June

Open House Gala-- Great Success!

We had approximately 250 attend the ribbon cutting & official kick-off party our students, their parents, & the community have been waiting for. Our first and second class of students really helped out by re-creating their classmates into different model categories. They did a fabulous job--the girls all looked spectacular.

We had a great desert bar with drinking fountain along with a special ice carving with our logo. We will be having another one in the near future.

Our VERY FIRST group of students are almost finished with their Freshman classes, and will begin taking clients on Wednesday , January 24, 2007--YEA! We are both excited and very proud of them. As they actually start implementing the skills they have worked so hard to accomplish during the past several months. As they go into the Sophomore phase of their program, they will be learning more advanced techniques as well as taking clients to fine tune their skills.

Our second group of Freshman begin their classes on Tuesday, January 23, 2007. We are so excited about the huge response we have had with this program! Students come in and see for themselves the energy and excitement that happens here daily, and instantly want to become a part of it!
